The practice behind the reports

Eucade is a specialist practice for European cascade and FSTP grant applications. It is deliberately small: one principal, a limited number of sectors, and written work that goes out under one name.

Who you work with

Eucade is the practice of Gerben Bijmholt, based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Behind it sits close to three decades in corporate consulting and programme management — most of it advising employers on pensions and employee risk for large Dutch insurers and brokers, latterly in programme and product management. The common thread is the one this work rewards: reading a rulebook precisely, then turning it into a file that survives someone else's scoring.

You correspond with one person. The intake, the Match Report, the application text and the questions you get back all come from the same desk, which is why the work is async and written rather than scheduled around calls.

What we claim, and what we do not

Eucade was founded in 2026. You will find no logo wall on this site and no testimonials, because there is not yet a track record worth quoting — and a single invented signal would be worth less than none. What we do publish is method: how a fit score is built, what the eligibility gates actually say, and how crowded a challenge is before you spend a month on it. Grant award is at the sole discretion of the funding body; no adviser can promise otherwise, and any who does is telling you something else too.

Capacity, honestly

Intake is limited on purpose — the number of files that can be written to a winning standard, in a small number of sectors, is not a large number. If a call is out of scope for you, or the competition on that challenge makes it a poor use of your month, you get that in writing with the reasoning attached, rather than an engagement.
